Craft Show and Girl at Piano Update

Hello followers,  sorry its been a couple of months since my last entry, I know, I am slack as!!!!  Never mind I have actually completed a third page in my Girl and the Piano cross stitch.  It really doesn't look like much more has been done but I can tell you there are many hours put into her.    I am really enjoying it but must admit I haven't done as much as I would have liked to have done by this date..but never mind.  Hopefully 2012 will see a lot more progress.  This is the latest picture of her:

I'm still enjoying using the parking method and find that it saves me a fair bit of time.

Anyway I've also had a fun week.  Went to the Craft Show at Rose Hill racecourse with Mrs Dibble, the Crafty Princess and  Jen B, oh and the Crafty Princess's mum.  It was a great day and having my car there was even better, because it meant I could sneak out once I had bought all my little gadgets and didn't have to stay all day like my other crafty buzzard friends, God love them!!!  These are some of the things I purchased:

Now I know I didn't want to be like the Crafty Princess and have too many projects on the go at once, but this was just tooo cute to go past.  Thanks to Crafty Princess, I have started the project. Thanks again for doing the zig zag on my beautiful paw print aida cloth and drawing the graph on my cloth so I knew exactly where to start etc.  Don't think I could have started the project with out you xxx.   This is my progress so far:

Ok there's not much to see so far, but a little of the white paw on the fist kitty has been done and some mouth of the second kitty.  I just love the paw print cloth.

Now here are some of my new gadgets,  woo hooo I love buying this sort of stuff:

Anyway thats about all I have to say for this entry,  once again apologies for the delay, will hopefully be able to do a fair bit more stitching now the summer has ended.

Thanks for looking and following my blog.  All the best,  Aunty Nene

It doesn't hurt to treat yourself to a new project and it will give you a break from the Girl at the piano.

  3. OMG I don't believe it a blog post YAYYYY!!!!

You're very welcome for all the above comments lovie. You know I will do anything for you especially when it involves cross stitch. The cat wahoo is going to look amazing. I thought the 2 paws that you stitched was the cloth and then I read your post. It's toooo cute!

Don't worry you will never be like me with 22 wips at once. 2 is much more manageable and I agree Linda it's good to have an smaller easier one to turn to when you want to stitch but just not in the mood for big bugger of a BAP.

Can't wait for more on the pussies!
